For many students, the arts are the only thing keeping them in school, whether it's wood shop, band, drama, or the art room. I am in the course of being diagnosed with ADD at the ripe age of 68; I have spent my entire life wondering why I am "different." I loved most of school, but not the social scene and PE--I hated those. Right now, my challenges are organization and sleep. I'm hoping meds will help. Even if doctors HAD known about ADHD back when I was young, I doubt that I'd ever have been diagnosed as I was quiet and shy. I'll be following your blog, now that I know about it.
