Excuse me for not being here very often, there is not much to report. Mommy is in the process of organizing all of my photos taken over the past 8 months, and in the meantime, I am napping. But the good news is, you will be able to browse my photo album any time you want when you visit Mommy's flickr page! And like I said, she is working hard at it, so while there is not much there right now, there will be soon! I will have pictures of all my favorite mountain dawgs, my spring and summer adventures, plus past winter favorites! All in one place. And if you feel like it you can look at Mommy's other, less interesting photos too.
In the meantime...
This dirty period they call "mud season" is almost over--not that I ever really minded the mud--and as the snow melts, a whole new layer of interesting smells has been opening up before my little nose! And I keep hearing Mommy and Daddy talking about avoiding moose and bears, though I really do not see the fun in that. Why not make some new animal friends? I have been trying to make friends with the little brown squirrels but they scatter too quickly. And the chipmunks, those sneaky little buggers. They are all OVER the place, but not long enough to let me sniff them "hello." Then there are the birds chirping overhead, coming down to visit Mommy's birdfeeders. They stay just long enough to pick up a seed and split. So I just sniff where everyone was before they took off. It is the next best thing to a proper greeting.
I really can not wait for summer though--this place is supposed to be crawling with other doggies then! And Mommy and Daddy take the roof off one of their cars which makes it really easy to stick my face in the wind. Gotta love that!
I hope all my favorite dawgs are doing doggone good these days. I miss my east coast pals and I think of you often!
