My Illustrations, my designs, my life

Hey Chickadees… today is a slightly better day because an illustration I did (and got paid to do!) has gone live online at OneIvyHill.com. One Ivy Hill is a small retailer of funky, fun fashion accessories for women of taste. I was approached out of nowhere to do the main graphic on their site in the same style as the Doggie Plates, but using her color theme as a guide… the ever popular chocolate brown and icing pink. Check out their merchandise… it is decadently super cute, if not super out of my price range! I really love the ribbon watches.

Meanwhile, I can’t tell you what’s going on that has me all in a frenzy, but I will when I can. My lovely public must wait. But, I do have some fun things going on:

1. I have been asked to design and produce Posh Poochy’s first wholesale catalog! Sixteen pages of Maggie’s favorite things.

2. My illo and my ad in Modern Dog Magazine will be published June 1st.

3. The ads I designed for Posh Poochy will be running in Modern Dog and Fido Friendly Magazine in June, and in the August/September issue of The New York Dog Magazine. Who knew there were so many fashion and lifestyle magazines for our furriest best friends?

4. I’ve also designed a hangtag for Posh Poochy’s Party Collars that will hit stores soon. Tell me you don’t love them. I mean, come on!

So yeah, things have been for the dogs around here lately. In addition to for the children’s books and for the Big Secret Things.
